I operate a 3 fitting booking  system ideally around 12, 8 and 4 weeks before your wedding (if time and my diary allow). Three fittings must be booked upfront  to secure your time with me. The total fitting cost will be requested as upfront payment to secure your fittings. If alterations are minimal and a 3rd fitting is not needed this will be deducted from your final bill. If alterations are particularly challenging then additional fittings may be offered.

I completely understand that this process can feel vulnerable. You’re standing in front of someone, in a dress that might not feel like you yet. I get it. That’s why fittings at  Redress Studio are calm, private and free of judgement. You’ll be listened to, taken seriously and treated with genuine care.What we work on stays between us. Your fittings are private, your ideas are safe and I’ll always be honest with you about what’s possible. You can count on me to keep things professional, respectful and real.

In your first fitting I will ask to see you in your dress and we will discuss all your needs and concerns, and assess the level of work to be carried out. I will also explain the fittings and alteration process in more detail and what you can expect in your fittings. And of course you  always have the opportunity to ask any questions or discuss new ideas. This is a collaborative process. After your fitting i will send you a personalised work schedule so you always know where we are in the process of transforming your dress and what to expect in your next fitting.

I kindly ask that all brides aim to be at their wedding weight for the first fitting. If you're planning on any weight changes after this appointment please let me know BEFORE YOUR FIRST FITTING as it will impact the alterations needed, fitting schedule and overall price.

It is really important that you bring along the exact shoes and shapewear  you will be wearing on the day to your consultation and ALL your fittings, as this can drastically affect the fit and finished look of your dress.
