BRAND STORY
It all started with a bridesmaid dress. I was trying to find someone to alter mine for my sister's wedding and between awkward appointments squeezed around work and a rushed fitting behind a curtain in a dry cleaners, I thought, surely this could be a nicer experience?

That’s when I realised: there was a gap in the market for me to offer Brides so much more. More comfort. More care. More attention to detail. A space where the whole experience feels calm, personal and enjoyable - not stressful or transactional.

With over 20 years in the fashion industry, working in design, fittings and at luxury houses like Burberry, I knew I had the skills to make that happen. Fittings were always my favourite part of the job, spotting what wasn’t working, shaping the garment so it sat beautifully and watching the transformation in how someone felt when they saw themselves in the mirror.

I also know what it’s like to struggle with body confidence, to wish clothes fit differently and to feel nervous about how you’ll look on a big day. That’s why I created a studio that’s private, kind and judgement-free. A place where you can be completely yourself, while we make your dress feel like you.

Every gown that comes through my door gets couture-level care. Whether it’s a small adjustment, a complete redesign or adding something meaningful like personalised embroidery or heirloom lace, my mission is always the same: to make sure you walk away feeling confident, comfortable and truly heard and seen.

And because I can’t ignore what I’ve seen in the fashion industry, sustainability is woven into everything I do. From reimagining pre-loved gowns to reclaiming fabrics and trims, I believe in honouring what already exists and creating beauty without waste.
I didn’t create Redress Studio just to do basic alterations. I created it to give you the space,, the skill and the confidence to shine on one of the most important days of your life.
